Hướng dẫn hoàn nguyên lõi lọc Aragon sau 1 thời gian sử dụng

Mechanical cleaning. Replacement of dosing unit.

  • Unscrew the second casing by the wrench included in the supply kit and turn out Aragon cartridge.
  • Pour water out from the cartridge (for Aragon-M, unwind the bottom plug with a special wrench, remove the dosing unit if necessary, turn in the plug up to stop) and clean the external surface of the cartridge with a soft brush (e.g., with a cloth brush) under a water jet. When replacing Aragon cartridge, take out insert B from the spent cartridge and transfer it to a new cartridge, remove the lid of the new dosing unit, insert it open side up, and turn in the bottom plug up to stop.
  • Assemble the filter in the reverse order and wash it for 1–2 min.

* For Aragon-M, unscrew out the bottom plug with a special wrench, remove and replace, if necessary, the dosing unit, and screw the plug up to stop.

Treatment to remove iron salts

(performed after mechanical cleaning)

  • In an enamel or glass vessel, prepare 3 l of a hot 3% citric acid solution (40 g, or 2 table-spoons per liter of water)
  • Place the cartridge on a stand in a wash-bowl or another appropriate vessel and pass the solution prepared through the Aragon cartridge by pouring it inside the cartridge through the threaded neck in portions, up to the top, until the solution at the outlet becomes clear and transparent.
  • Prepare 0.6 l of a 2% sodium hydrocarbonate solution (one teaspoon per 0.6 l).
  • Place the Aragon cartridge in the casing and pour the sodium hydrocarbonate solution inside. The solution should be poured through the cartridge neck until the whole cartridge and the casing are filled with the solution.
  • After the lapse of 1 h, pour out the solution and assemble the filter in the reverse order. Open the clean water tap and allow water to flow for 5 min.
  • The filter is ready for use.

* Before assembling, lubricate the seal ring (Fig. 2, position 6) with Vaseline or silicone grease (do not confuse with silicone sealant!).

Treatment to remove hardness salts

(performed after mechanical cleaning)

  • Prepare a regenerating solution. Put 40 g of citric acid and 30 g (two table-spoons) of sodium hydrocarbonate into a 1.5–2-l vessel, and add 1 l of water. Water should be added in portions, because the process is accompanied by foaming (carbon dioxide evolution).
  • Place the cartridge in the casing and fully fill it with the solution prepared (approximately 0.6 l).
  • Allow to stand for 10–12 h, after which remove the cartridge and pour out the spent solution.
  • Place the cartridge in the vertical position in a wash-bowl and pass through it the remaining amount of the solution, pouring it through the threaded neck and allowing it to fully drain.
  • Wash out the residual solution from the cartridge with water in two steps. First, pour 3 l of water in portions into the cartridge up to the top through the threaded neck. Then wrap the neck with a polyethylene film and fix it with a rubber ring or string.
  • Turn over and wind out the plug with appropriate wrench.
  • Place the turned-over cartridge in the vertical position in a wash-bowl and wash it with additional 3 l of water as described above.
  • Remove the film and turn in the bottom plug.
  • Assemble the filter in the reverse order.
  • Open the clean water tap and allow water to flow for 3 min at a rate of 1–1.5 l/min.
